Die Strasse fuehrt immer an der Kueste entlang bis sie auf einmal zu Ende ist und man automatisch auf einer Faehre landet, die uns kostenfrei nach Galveston bringt.




Port Bolivar, Texas, is an unincorporated community located at the end of the Bolivar Peninsula in Galveston County, Texas, USA.
As of 2000, Port Bolivar had a population of 1,200.[1] The town is home to the historic Bolivar Lighthouse, which once guided ships entering Galveston Bay.
Ferry service is provided by the Texas Department of Transportation between Port Bolivar and Galveston.
